Mayte 'Maria' Peck, President of SheLends Consulting and the Principal Managing Partner at Mark of the Potter.
Maria was born in New York City, raised in Peru and now lives in Georgia. As an entrepreneur and business advisor, Maria has made it her life’s mission to educate and prepare women and minorities for access to capital. She tirelessly works on community outreach initiatives, coaching financial education programs, one-on-one business consulting, and lending. At the end of 2020, her two-year term as the Board Chair for the nonprofit Latino Community Fund of Georgia ended after incredible organizational growth and national recognition.
Adela Yelton, Host of Latina South Podcast
With a background in both corporate and small business and most recently, in public and community service, Adela can speak first-hand to living as a Latina in the South and loves helping to share the stories of grit and empathy from other Latinas making things happen for themselves and the community. Originally from Texas, she's proud of her family roots both in Mexico and the US and although a Tejana at heart, she considers Georgia home where she enjoys traveling and sharing key moments of Southern life with family and friends.
Jennifer Salazar Hutcheson, Digital Strategist and Social Media Manager at Latina South Podcast
Jennifer is also Founder and Editor-in- Chief of the bilingual blog, Mami 2 Mommy and has worked in social media with brands/companies from Johnson & Johnson, Macy's, Clorox, Discovery Familia, Pampers, Britax. As a proud mami of two boys and wife to an incredibly supportive husband, her days are often filled with the joys of her crazy mami world and the passion for her work.
